The 2023 SNL Spanglish skit featuring Bad Bunny, Pedro Pascal and Marcello Hernández is hilarious. It is a great example of what Spanglish sounds like in the United States. I never knew how funny Bad Bunny was until I saw him in Happy Gilmore 2 and in this skit. In this skit, the characters go back and forth between English and Spanish while a son introduces his Hispanic aunt (and later, mom) to his white girlfriend who only speaks English. The aunt and mother make fun of the white girlfriend, using many stereotypes, and treating her rudely. However, at the end when the girlfriend tells the mom that her son doesn't eat enough and that she always tells him to eat more, the mom and aunt become ecstatic over this statement. They love her now and fully accept her into the family since feeding her son is so important in the Hispanic culture.
